Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has once again criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration for the degree of suffering in the nation.
Adebayo said poverty is not Nigeria’s fate in a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday, bemoaning the fact that it is the result of bad leadership and failed policies.
According to Adebayo, Nigeria could improve its economic situation by implementing what he called “the right government, clear priorities, and deliberate planning.”
Despite three years of economic reforms, millions of Nigerians still face increasing hardship and diminished purchasing power, according to the SDP’s presidential candidate.
Nigeria is not destined to live in poverty. Adebayo said, “It is the outcome of poor leadership and can be overcome with the right government, the right priorities, and the right plan.”
