Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, an ally of Chibuike Amaechi, warned Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomole to stop attacking Amaechi and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
DAILY POST reported that Oshiomhole, on Channels TV’s “Politics Today,” had called Amaechi “the most terrible” and accused him of poor management of the rail system as Minister of Transportation. Oshiomhole questioned Amaechi’s decision to build a train track to the Niger Republic while his home state, Rivers, had none, and also criticized Amaechi’s role in the APC’s 2015 victory.
In a Thursday statement, Eze claimed that Oshiomhole and his associates in the APC were upset by the thought of imminent defeat. Eze argued that President Bola Tinubu’s severe incompetence caused the country to decline.
Eze stated that Oshiomhole should be imprisoned if the system were working but is instead serving as one of Tinubu’s puppet senators to avoid prosecution. He asserted that Amaechi speaks the truth because he is honest.
Eze concluded that people like Oshiomhole should be ashamed while Amaechi makes patriotic efforts to liberate the country.
Eze, a former National Publicity Secretary of the nPDP, said Amaechi believes in due process and non-violence and deserves respect for consistently doing the right thing. He told Oshiomhole to direct his anger elsewhere, as Amaechi is focused on national issues and Nigeria’s liberation project and would not give him attention.
Eze stressed that Amaechi fully supports his work reviving Nigeria’s rail system, and the current Transportation Minister is selectively and slowly following Amaechi’s development blueprint for the South South, South East, and North East.
Regarding the shutdown of the judiciary during Amaechi’s tenure, Eze advised Oshiomhole to find the facts. Eze explained that it occurred when Amaechi’s friend Wike attempted to use five lawmakers to illegally impeach a sitting governor.
Eze advised Oshiomhole to hide his face for being the first National Chairman of a political party to be impeached by his own ward due to his bad activities.
