APC was in the White House in 2014, seeking help over Christian genocide. Adamu Garba supports Trump.

Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has acknowledged that there is an ongoing genocide in the country.

The APC chieftain spoke in an interview on Trust TV while reacting to the recent action by the US President, Donald Trump, who labeled Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern regarding the persecution of Christians.

Challenging those who are opposing President Trump’s decision to eliminate the individuals responsible for the alleged mass killing, Adamu recalled that the APC, when it was an opposition party in 2014, requested assistance from the US military concerning the same killing of Christians.

He asserted that the United Nations had given the US the authority to assist in combating terrorism globally.

He said: “When you consider the destruction, the total count of the people who have been killed over time in Nigeria, they are killed undefended in communities and even in their residences, what else can you name it? It is nothing other than pure genocide.”

“In 2014, the opposition party at that time, the APC, was present in the White House seeking the same help regarding the same Christian genocide at the time of the Chibok girls incident.”

“It was a United Nations convention on counter-terrorism that authorized the United States to become the global focus point in the fight against terrorism, so wherever the term terrorism is defined, the US has the right to provide protection. They refer to it as responsibility to protect. They call it Responsibility to Protect, R to P.”
