Jorge Mendes, who used to represent Cristiano Ronaldo, stated that Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal is worthy of this year’s Ballon d’Or.
Raphinha, Yamal’s club team-mate, is currently regarded as the leading contender for the award.
Mendes has, however, stated that the Spaniard’s performance this season has been of a high standard.
This year, Lamine Yamal is worthy of winning the Ballon d’Or.
“It’s obvious that he has been the world’s best player this season.
He remarked, “Lamine’s level has been Ballon d’Or worthy.”
Yamal clinched victory in the last Euros with Spain and is on track to secure the LaLiga title with Barcelona this season.
Yamal has netted 16 goals and delivered 20 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.
