The Senate President of Nigeria’s 10th Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has denied reports claiming he collapsed and was subsequently flown to a hospital in London for medical treatment.
This denial was issued by Kenny Okolugbo, the Consultant on Communications and Strategy to the Senate President. When contacted about the situation by a news outlet, Okolugbo succinctly dismissed the allegation, stating, “It’s a lie, fake news,” and did not provide further details.
The response comes after an online news platform published a report on Monday alleging that the Senate President had collapsed and was transported via a private jet to London for medical care.
