Thomas Tuchel, who has played 67 games in the competition and has a points per match ratio of 1.96, is only barely ahead of Carlo Ancelotti and Julian Nagelsmann.
Dortmund, PSG, Chelsea, and Bayern were the four teams who participated in those games, but he won the trophy with the London team.
He went one better the following year when Chelsea overcame Manchester City in the 2021 final after losing the 2020 final with PSG.
9. 1.97 Louis van Gaal
Beginning with Ajax in 1994, the former manager of Manchester United has managed four teams in European play.
