Uzor Arukwe, a Nollywood actor, has recounted how astonished he was by the rumors about his sexual orientation.
According to Naija News, the movie star stated in an interview with the “Unfiltered and Extra Spicy” podcast that he was initially thrilled about the rumors because he thought they would help him get attention.
Uzor denied the allegation that he was gay, stating that he would own it and had no motive to conceal it.
The actor added that he does not judge anyone based on their sexual orientation and that he loves and supports his LGBT pals.
“The worst thing I’ve heard about myself is that I’m gay,” he remarked. I was very taken aback, but I was also a little excited because I had heard that you would explode up when people started saying stuff like that, so I reasoned that this must be it.
I love my gay friends, and I have many of them. Since they are my people, I am aware of their sexual orientation.
“I love them to death and I have nothing against them whatsoever. But I’m not going to agree to what I’m not just because to some people they are a certain type of people. For me, let God judge.
“If it is my sexuality, I would own it. I’ll be one of the hottest around.”
