Afrobeats singer, Orezi, has explained the reason for his decline in the music industry.
The ‘Ogede’ hitmaker explained that his decline was because he became less ambitious.
Featuring in a recent episode of Hip TV programme, Trending, the singer said taking himself out of the competition in the music industry affected his career
Orezi emphasized the significance of consistency, noting that Davido, despite being a well-established star, still puts in hard work like an emerging artist.
He stated, “I faded out [of the music industry] because my ambition diminished and I became comfortable with my current situation. I was constantly on holiday, having a good time. I lowered my ambitions and withdrew from the competition [in the music industry].
“Competition fuels consistency. Take Davido as an example; he grinds like an underground artist. Despite having money and fame, he continues to embody his hustling spirit.
