Neymar Jr., a forward for Santos, is part of Brazil’s 55-man provisional roster for the 2026 World Cup.
Estevao Willian, a forward for Chelsea who is injured, has not been included by head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Neymar has consistently been included in Ancelotti’s tentative squads, but he has never been selected.
Before the competition next month, the 34-year-old is putting in a lot of effort to demonstrate his health.
Ancelotti’s pledge to “only call up players who are physically ready” is the reason behind this.
Neymar is optimistic about competing for his country in another important competition even though his prospects of making the final 26-man roster are slim.
