Mbwas Mangut, the technical adviser for Nasarawa United, acknowledged that his team was fortunate to draw with Enyimba in Aba.
In a matchday three match on Sunday in Aba, the Solid Miners held Enyimba to a scoreless draw.
Despite the several opportunities the People’s Elephant generated, Nasarawa United’s defense held firm.
Mangut gave his team credit for staying composed during the match.
Both of us had opportunities to play and score. Mangut said, “We were fortunate to have been able to absorb a very strong side.”
Nasarawa United’s four points after three games put them in eleventh place in the NPFL.
