The date for the 2025 Batch “B” Stream II registration period has been announced by the National Youth Service Corps’ (NYSC) management. The announcement was posted on the NYSC’s X handle on Thursday.
According to NYSC, registration for 2025 Batch “B” Stream II will open on Monday, September 8, 2025.
However, the post did not specify the end date of the registration period.
According to BASEMEDIA NEWS, General Yakubu Gowon’s military government launched the National Youth Service Corps, or NYSC, in Nigeria in 1973.
The program was designed to promote national unity and integration among young Nigerians as part of the post-civil war reconciliation efforts.Under the program, tertiary school graduates under 30 must serve the nation for a year, during which time they are assigned to states outside of their home region.
