In just 12 months, the financial technology company OPay has awarded N126 million in education subsidies to 420 undergraduate students at 20 different universities. This was said by Elizabeth Wang, the company’s chief commercial officer, during the CyberLabs inauguration and the first anniversary celebration of the N1.2 billion scholarship program, which is set to run for ten years.Wang reaffirmed that the scholarship program continues to be the mainstay of its social impact approach, with supplementary initiatives like CyberLabs supporting digital literacy and capacity building.
