Despite increasing interest from teams in Saudi Arabia and Europe, Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray is not prepared to consider any deals for star striker Victor Osimhen, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.
Arsenal’s sporting director, Andrea Berta, allegedly met with the Turkish club’s management last weekend, making Osimhen a possible transfer target for both Barcelona and Arsenal.
Over the past three summer transfer windows, the 27-year-old has been in excellent form for Galatasaray, and his steady performances have fueled long-standing rumors of a move to the Premier League.
Barcelona is reportedly considering a bid of about €100 million for the Nigerian forward, while Berta is reported to have been to Turkey for discussions with Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek.
He led the team to a domestic double during a fruitful loan stint before Galatasaray paid €75 million to recruit him permanently from Napoli.
The player is supposedly valued at €150 million by the club, while Turkish sources speculate that this amount is meant to deter possible suitors.
