Saraki Says Adamawa Governor Remains PDP; Sule Courts Fintiri For APC

Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, was publicly courted by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule on Monday to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). However, former Senate President Bukola Saraki swiftly rejected the overture, stating that Fintiri would stay in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The political discussions occurred in Yola when Solomon Kumarga’s book “Fintiri: The Man They Couldn’t Stop” was being shown in public. As the event’s chairman, Sule commended Fintiri’s performance and leadership style, calling him a governor with “APC DNA” and tying his accomplishments to the progressive philosophies of the ruling party.I dare argue that you have the APC in your blood, my brother, and you are acting like a true progressive governor. The audience applauded as Sule stated, “We are on the same page with you.” He urged governors to recognize the effects of the administration’s policies and credited President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms with improving revenue allocations to states and local governments.”We have to express our gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his amazing reforms, which have increased our financial resources.”
