In the UEFA Europa League’s second qualifying round, Eredivisie team FC Twente will play either Hungarian team Ferencvaros or Serbian team Vojvodina Novi Sad.
After placing fourth in the Eredivisie the previous season, FC Twente advances to the second round of the UEFA Europa League qualifications.
Last season, Vojvodina Novi Sad of Serbia placed second in the Serbian Super Liga, three points ahead of third-place Partizan and ten points behind winners Crvena Zvezda.
Between 2019 and 2025, Ferencvaros won the Hungarian NB I seven times in a row. However, ETO FC from Györ won their first title since 2013 last season. Ferencvaros finished one point behind ETO FC and lost the championship on the last day.
Ferencvaros and Vojvodina Novi Sad will play each other on July 9 and 16, with the Serbians hosting the opening leg. On July 23 and 30, the victor will take on FC Twente.
The only other Dutch team competing in the UEFA Europa League is AZ. After winning the Dutch Cup, the Alkmaar team immediately qualified for the League Phase.
