Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage has addressed rumors that she was romantically involved with fellow musician Wizkid.
In a recent interview, the singer disclosed that she had dated a well-known person.
She claims that despite her partner’s open flirtation with other women under the pretense of protecting their privacy, the relationship was kept out of the public eye because he desired to be secretive.
Given the long-running rumors of a connection between the two, many Nigerians assumed that she was referring to Wizkid when she made her remarks, which immediately created a lot of conjecture.
Tiwa Savage, however, has refuted the allegations in a recent interview, emphasizing that although she much respects and admires Wizkid, he was not the famous person in issue.
The single mother decided not to reveal who the famous person she dated was.
“Congratulations to Wizkid. He isn’t the person I was referring to, but I still love and appreciate him.
I claimed that the individual was well-known, but it’s not him. “I said,” she concluded.
