Transfer: West Ham aim to secure Onyedika’s signature from Club Brugge

West Ham United are tracking Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika ahead of the summer transfer window.

Onyedika could leave Club Brugge this summer after another stellar season for Nicky Hayen’s side.

The defensive midfielder earned plaudits for his performance in the UEFA Champions League this season.

The 24-year-old was instrumental in Blauw-Zwart’s Belgian Cup victory last month as well.

Club Brugge are close to claiming a second consecutive Belgian Pro League title.

Voetbalkrant reports that West Ham United are very interested in the defensive midfielder.

However, the Hammers may encounter fierce rivalry from AC Milan, who are also said to have an interest in the Nigeria international.

In 2022, Onyedika transferred from the Danish club FC Midtylland to Club Brugge.
