Security forces successfully thwarted a night attack by bandits on the Kwargaba community in the Wurno Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
The incident, reported on Wednesday by security analyst Bakatsine on X, occurred on Tuesday night when the attackers stormed the community. Residents promptly raised an alarm, triggering an immediate response from vigilante members and soldiers from Marnona.
The joint security team quickly engaged the bandits and repelled the assault. The swift action resulted in two bandits being killed and three others being arrested. Crucially, the prompt response prevented any harm, injury, or abduction of the Kwargaba residents.
