In the early hours of Wednesday, unidentified individuals abducted two residents of the Ugba community in Benue State’s Logo Local Government Area. Identified as Mr. Kpishi Terhile and Madam Demetindi Nongo, the victims were taken around 1:00 a.m. from a home located near the local General Hospital. Witnesses observed that the kidnapping was conducted in a quiet and systematic manner, which local sources noted aligns with a recurring pattern of similar crimes in the region. The current location of the two individuals is unknown, and efforts to obtain an official statement from the Benue State Police Command have so far been unsuccessful as the spokesperson has not responded to inquiries.
