UCL: Arteta says Arsenal needs to dedicate everything to qualifying for the final

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said his players must be prepared to give their lives in order to reach the Champions League final.

The Gunners travel to Paris Saint-Germain for the second leg of their semi-final on Wednesday, seeking to overturn a 1-0 deficit and secure only the second Champions League final appearance in the club’s history.

In an interview with ESPN, Arteta shared his anticipation ahead of the clash at the Parc des Princes.

“It’s excitement, goosebumps, the anticipation for the day to come, [the feeling] of being thoroughly prepared and completely convinced, and knowing that this is a chance to play in a Champions [League] final,” he said.

„Und wenn du an diese Stelle kommst, musst du dein Leben dafür geben.“

Arsenal will benefit from the return of midfielder Thomas Partey, who was unavailable for the first leg because of a suspension.
