There are signs that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will release Martins Otse, a well-known social media influencer known as VeryDarkMan, on Tuesday.
The Nation has also discovered that there are intentions to officially charge him in court on Thursday.
On Monday, a high-ranking official from the anti-corruption agency, who wished to remain unnamed, validated the development. The official pointed out that although Otse is still in custody, he has not been formally arraigned yet.
