Some leaders from the Warri federal constituency on Tuesday staged a protest at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Abuja.
Protesters argued that the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) was not done in accordance with the recently concluded delineation.
They carried placards with inscriptions such as ‘CVR today is a political fraud in Warri Federal Constituency,’ “Warri Federal Constituency, no ward, no units for CVR,” and “INEC give us the final report,” among others.
The demonstrators also demand that the electoral umpire immediately release the final report on the Supreme Court-ordered delineation of electoral registration areas, wards, and polling units in the Warri federal constituency.
