Citing Governor Abiodun Oyebanji’s performance and broad public support, Nentawe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed confidence that the party will win the upcoming Ekiti State governorship election.
After attending the APC mega rally in Ekiti State with Vice President Kashim Shettima, members of the National Working Committee, governors, and other party leaders, Yilwatda made this claim in a post on X on Tuesday.
He claimed that the high attendance at the rally demonstrated the governor’s acceptance and popularity throughout the state and that people were keen to give him another term in office.
The chairman of the APC claimed that Oyebanji had demonstrated his worth to the public by building and renovating roads, funding education, and implementing measures to enhance the development of human capital.
He pointed out that the governor had gained the trust and support of the electorate due to the administration’s accomplishments, which were visible throughout the state.
Yilwatda expressed hope that the APC would win the election, citing the governor’s track record in office and the support of the people of Ekiti as reasons for the anticipated result.
The people’s faith in Governor Oyebanji has been validated. Important roads have been built and renovated under his leadership, opening up communities and promoting economic activity.
In addition to making large investments in education and the development of human capital, his government has established an environment that is conducive to learning and success.
“Good governance is evident everywhere you look in Ekiti these days. The public is proud of Governor Oyebanji’s accomplishments and acknowledges what he has accomplished. For this reason, thousands of people came together willingly to show their support and reaffirm their faith in his leadership, according to Yilwatda.
