According to Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar would hold the president in 2027.
However, Primate Ayodele stated to his audience on Sunday that President Bola Tinubu is a very desperate politician and that several reasons will prevent Atiku from playing gentlemanly politics.
The cleric went on to say that Northerners are not prepared to vote for Tinubu, emphasizing that the All Progressives Congress, or APC, will make significant efforts to make amends in order to win them over.
He claims that Northerners are banding together to support Atiku.
“The presidency is in Atiku’s hands, but a lot of circumstances will stop him if he continues to play gentlemanly politics because Tinubu is very desperate,” he stated. Nigerians, including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), are more desperate than Peter Obi.
“I’m not sure whether someone is more desperate than Nigeria or the INEC, but let’s see. But in order for God to assist Tinubu, he needs to take his health seriously.
“Tinubu’s health is not good. He must be cared for by the family. That’s just the reality, so let’s leave it that way. Northerners are not prepared to cast Tinubu’s ballot. Northerners are banding together to vote for Atiku, despite the APC’s extensive efforts at reconciliation.
