In order to defeat the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff final, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has stated that his squad must improve from their performance against Gabon. At the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat on Thursday, Chelle’s team defeated the Panthers of Gabon 4-1 in the playoff semifinal. On Sunday, the SuperEagles and Leopards will play in the championship game at the same location.
