With 12 minutes left, Sevilla’s Akor Adams gave the Super Eagles the lead. However, the Panthers rallied, and in the 88th minute, midfielder Mario Lemina equalized the score. Chidera Ejuke, a replacement, gave Nigeria the lead again in the ninetieth minute. The Super Eagles won thanks to two goals from Victor Osimhen.Chelle commended his team for their performance throughout the game. “I am really proud of these guys (players) because they consistently display what I want and are focused on what I asked for.
