After achieving 1.7 million barrels per day recently, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited yesterday reaffirmed its ambition to increase Nigeria’s oil output to 2 million by 2027 and 3 million in the long run. Engineer Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd., gave a speech during the “Energy Talk” session of the ongoing Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025), which is being held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Redefining connections with IOCs and independents, eliminating legacy barriers, and aligning on common value, he claimed, were the main drivers of the expansion.
