Seven people died and four others were injured in a fatal crash in Yobe State on December 26, 2025. According to the Yobe State Police Command, the accident occurred when a Sharon bus traveling from Gombe State to Borno State experienced a rear tire burst near the Badejo axis. The mechanical failure caused the driver to lose control, sending the vehicle off the road and into the brush. Police Commissioner Emmanuel Ado offered condolences to the victims’ families and urged motorists to prioritize road safety by avoiding speeding and reckless driving.
