On Wednesday (today), Ranchers Bees and Jigawa Golden Stars will compete for the final promotion spot in the Nigeria National League, or NNL.
From the three other Conferences, Doma United, Inter Lagos, and Sporting Lagos have all been promoted to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Gombe United will visit the Ranchers Bees, who lead Conference D with 20 points.
The ticket will be secured with a draw at Pantami Stadium.
To stay in the league, Gombe United must score as many points as possible.
With 18 points, the Jigawa Golden Stars are ranked third in Conference D.
To have any hope of making it back to the top division, they must defeat Kebbi United, who are also battling to avoid the relegation, on the road.
