Aisha Yesufu, a political activist, has promised to run against Peter Obi if he is elected president and chooses to serve multiple terms.
Yesufu stated this during an interview on “Prime Time” on Arise Television on Monday.
Obi has given his word, she added, adding that he must honor it.
She emphasized that the previous governor of Anambra state had stated that he would only serve one term before to the 2023 election.
“I will vehemently oppose Peter Obi if he is elected president and chooses to serve more than one term because he made a commitment and must honor it.
“I need your word on this,” I told Mr. Peter Obi as we sat down. I am aware that you have stated that previously. I want you to say it again. Are you really only planning to do one term? “Aisha, I told you, even in 2023, and I still mean it,” he continued.
