The troops promptly responded to distress calls from residents and engaged the kidnappers during the operation, resulting in the neutralization of one suspect. Makama reported that the items recovered from the neutralized suspect included an AK-47 rifle, a magazine, and four rounds of 7.62 \text{mm} special ammunition. Makama further stated that the deceased suspect was later identified as a resident of the community who was allegedly collaborating with the kidnapping group from within the area. Additionally, during the operation, troops arrested three individuals suspected of being informants who provided intelligence and support to the kidnappers.
