According to the DAILY POST, Aurěen Tchouaméni, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has been suspended for one UEFA Champions League game.
The second leg of Real Madrid’s Champions League quarterfinal matchup with Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena in Germany next week will therefore be missed by the France international.
Tchouamén was absent from Real Madrid’s Champions League quarterfinal first-leg 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on Tuesday due to a yellow card.
Due to an accumulation of yellow cards, the 26-year-old will be suspended for the second leg with this card.
Tchouaméni’s talents will be missed by Real Madrid in the pivotal game that will decide who advances to the tournament’s semifinals.
This season, Tchouaméni is seen as a crucial member of Real Madrid’s midfield.
His absence is therefore a setback for Los Blancos ahead of their rematch with the Bundesliga powerhouses.
