UK, France, US backing Nigeria’s fight against terrorism – NSA Ribadu

The National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, disclosed that several world powers, including the United States, France, and the United Kingdom, are supporting Nigeria’s fight against terrorism by providing technical support.
Ribadu made this announcement during a visit to the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Northern Region, Bishop Bulus Yohanna, in Kontagora, Niger State, following the recent abduction of students from St. Mary’s Private Catholic School. The NSA conveyed President Tinubu’s deep distress over the situation and confirmed that the President has directed security agencies to ensure the safe return of the kidnapped children.
Speaking to Christian leaders and parents at St. Michael’s Catholic Cathedral, Ribadu assured them that they would rescue their children, emphasizing that the President is so concerned that he suspended official engagements, including a scheduled trip, to focus on the matter. The NSA stated that the Federal Government is taking full responsibility for restoring peace and promised that the kidnapped children would return safely, adding that the entire world stands with Nigeria against this evil.
